Middle Level 2010 - 2011 Supply Lists

This supply list is a basic list to start the school year.  A subject-specific school supply list will be issued the first week of school.  Every attempt will be made to keep additional supplies to a minimum.  All supplies will be due on Monday, August 16, 2010.

Note to Parents:

• Please label all supplies with student's name in permanent marker
• Please do not send your child with his/her supplies and backpack on the first ½ day of school
• Please give the cashier this ID number, our school will earn credit:  IWA Middle Level Office Deport I.D. #70095677

6th Grade

• 2 packages of wide-ruled loose leaf paper
• 1 Pack of markers
• 1 one inch (1”) 3-ring binder notebooks
• 1 package notebook dividers
• 1 package index cards (lined)
• 1 package of #2 pencils
• 2 boxes of mechanical pencils (10 to a box)
• 2 packs of  colored pencils
• Standard blue or black pens (no gel or roller pens)
• 1 package of red pens
• 1 package highlighters (assorted colors)
• 1 eraser for Math class
• 1 white bath towel for wellness class
• 1 large box of facial tissues
• 3 large rolls of paper towels
• 3 composition books
• 2 paper folders with brads and pockets
• 3 one-subject spiral notebooks
• 1 box of baby wipes
• 1-8 oz. bottle of hand sanitizer
• $1.00 for wellness supplies
• IWA agenda datebook-to be received the first week of school
• Back pack – Keep in mind that a backpack may not be used throughout the day.  Students will leave them all day in their advisory classrooms, where their lockers are located (rolling backpacks are permitted).

7th Grade

• Wide-ruled loose leaf paper
• #2 pencils
• Standard blue or black ink pens
• Color markers (no permanent markers or Sharpies)
• 1 package of color pencils
• 3 highlighters
• 1 12-inch ruler with metric and standard units
• Scissors
• 1 large container of anti-bacterial wipes for science class
• 1 pack of letter size 1/3 cut standard manila file folders (at least 6 folders) – one for each teacher
• 1 white bath towel for wellness class
• $1.00 for wellness supplies-give to Mr. Patterson
• Backpack – Keep in mind that a backpack may not be used throughout the day. Students will leave them all day in the classrooms where their lockers are located (rolling backpacks are permitted).

Give the following to your advisory teacher:

• 1 package of multicolor construction paper (girls only)
• 1 packet of 12- X 18-inch manila drawing paper (boys only)
• 1 package of copy paper
• 1 large box of facial tissues
• 1 large roll of paper towels

8th Grade

• T I-84 plus or IN-SPIRE (IN-SPIRE contains TI-84+ and other calculator)
• Standard blue or black pens
• No. 2 pencils
• Highlighters (at least one yellow)
• Loose leaf paper (standard size 8 ½ x 10)
• Supplies at home should include:  colored pencils, hole puncher, stapler, scissors, and glue.
• $3.00 for wellness supplies (given to Mr. Patterson)
• Backpack – Keep in mind that a backpack may not be used throughout the day.  Students will leave them all day in their advisory classrooms, where their lockers are located.  The backpacks must be able to fit inside the student’s locker.
