Annual Alumni nationwide phonathon for the Annual Giving Campaign raises $115,000

Sixty-one Incarnate Word Academy Alumni, representing graduates from the classes of 1930's to 2000's, gathered during the week of August 14-20, in the central and secondary level offices to work on the annual alumni nationwide phonathon for the Annual Giving Campaign. The purpose of this event is for the alumni volunteer callers to reach out to their classmates and fellow graduates, update them on the mission and goals which empower IWA to extend the Incarnate Word mission to our children and their families and raise dollars for the school. Some of our volunteers who were unable to come during the designated phonathon week called from home. Thanks to our generous volunteers.

A sincere thank you to all alumni who made a commitment to the Alumni Annual Giving Campaign. We could not reach many of you by phone. We know that you will want to join your classmates by sending in your gift, which is a legacy that passes on the faith to the next generation.

 

Class of 1985 Reunion

IWA alumni from the Class of 1985 met the weekend of July 22, 2005, to celebrate their 20th class reunion. The group was able to spend the weekend meeting the families of their former classmates and enjoy a dinner and dance at the Ramada Inn Bayfront. They had breakfast on Sunday morning at Incarnate Word Academy, attend Mass at the convent chapel and were given a tour of the school.
