Night in Havana
No passport necessary!
Incarnate Word Academy and esteemed 2012 Gala Chairs Paulette Guajardo and Amy Koch, along with Honorary Chairs Kimberley and Bernard Seger, M.D., are proud to formally announce that reservations for “A Night in Havana” are now being accepted.
This year IWA brings the “fun” back in fundraising—Cuban style! The Solomon P. Ortiz Center will be transformed into a lush Cuban nightclub where attendees will spend una noche spectaculare of dining, dancing, and live entertainment.
Guest will have the opportunity to bid on fabulous, one-of-kind auction items including exquisite art pieces designed and created by IWA students.

The IWA Benefit Gala helps to support the long-standing mission of Incarnate Word Academy, which is to
provide the highest quality Catholic education. Proceeds go directly to the Education Initiatives Fund which has a direct, positive impact on students at all three levels of the IWA campus.

Alumni Memorial Mass and Luncheon – Sunday, November 6, 2011, Convent Chapel, 11:00 a.m. |
To honor those who have passed away during the year, the Memorial Mass is a special way to remember. The entire Incarnate Word Academy community is invited to celebrate Memorial Mass. Families who have lost a loved one in the past year are invited to participate in a candle light ceremony of remembrance in the entrance procession. Following Mass, lunch is served. |

**We will be taking a year off from the Annual Christmas Luncheon as part of the evaluation and restructuring of the Alumni Program.

This is an exceptional event that gives alumni and volunteers the opportunity to reach out to other graduates and the greater Incarnate Word Academy community—sharing the latest school news and goals of the mission while seeking donations that go toward the Incarnate Word Academy Annual Giving Campaign. |
