Athletic Director
Coach Garcia or "Gator" as most people know him, has been a member of the IWA coaching staff for over 20 years. He is now in his thirteenth year as Athletic Director.
During his tenure, the Boys Baseball Team has reached the final four in 1989-90, 1998-99 and 1999-2000. He led the IWA Baseball Team to the State Tournament in 1997-98; 1999-2000. The IWA Boys Soccer Team reached the final four in 1989-90, 1992-93 and 1997-98 seasons. The Boys and Girls Golf Team each won state titles for the 2010-11 season.
Coach Garcia is a 1981 graduate of Foy H. Moody High School, and 1989 graduate of Corpus Christi State University. He was named All South Texas Coach of the year in 2000-2001.
