Elementary School Athletic Program
 The athletic program of Incarnate Word Academy Elementary School sets its goals, principles, and responsibilities for coaches, students, and parents to be a tool that promotes lifelong success starting at an early age. Emphasis is placed on sportsmanship as well as on the development of physical and mental skills.
In its entirety, the program lends itself to the development of each student's character in a Christian atmosphere.

Every student who plans to partake in IWA athletics must have a physical on file prior to any sports participation.

The Texas Association of Private and Parochial Schools (TAPPS) provides important health and safety information for athletes—including heat related illness, hydration, concussions and much more. We encourage all student athletes and parents to review this information.
