What is the Incarnate Word Academy Booster Club?
It is a group of parents of IWA athletes, whose purpose is to provide moral and financial support to all IWA student athletes.  The Booster Club also helps promote good sportsmanship and holds fund-raising events and projects to help fund the needs of the IWA Athletic Program.

How are the funds raised?
In addition to our three annual fundraisers, we have added merchandise sales.  The “Touch of Heaven Spirit Store” is staffed by volunteers and orders can be placed @ spiritstore@iwacc.org. In addition to our fund-raisers, the Booster Club collects admission at games and staffs concession areas. 

What do the funds raised go toward?
All funds raised go to the betterment of all IWA Sports Programs.  The Booster Club raises approximately 65% of the yearly athletic budget.  In addition to supplementing the budget, it helps purchase needed equipment and supplies for the athletes and coaches.  The Booster Club also pays for all post season lodging and meals for athletes and coaching staff.

How do I become involved?
Included in the Athlete Fee is membership into the Booster Club.  If you were not able to sign up to volunteer at registration, please contact any Booster Club Board member.  A board member will contact you directly to discuss your areas of interest.  Without your time and talent this would not continue to be a successful organization.  

Tell me about the Coach Wenzel Scholarship.
The Booster Club sponsors the Coach Wenzel Scholarship, established in 2009 and valued at $1,000.  Two scholarships are given each year to one male and one female senior student athlete who demonstrate exemplary leadership skills, Christian awareness, and school spirit.
