Meets every Wednesday from 3:30 - 4:30 p.m. in room 28.
Junior Engineering and Technology Society (JETS) is open to any students interested in using math to solve practical problems. The students need not be "A" students in math. This club emphasizes the creative, logical, problem-solving aspects of mathematics. Student members will work on engineering projects, such as designing a bridge, exploring new technology in the study of math and working cooperatively to solve design problems. Preparation for math and design contests will provide additional activities for interested students. Field trips to engineering sights may also be planned.
