The faculty and staff of Incarnate Word Academy work hard to ensure students excel at their personal goals and goals of academic achievement. Administrators, faculty and staff are role models of self-discipline who seek to motivate all students with their commitment to the academic and sociological development of each individual child.

Our administrators, faculty and staff members bring a wealth of personal and professional experience to the IWA school community. As extremely dedicated educators, our teachers clearly understand the importance and lasting impact that a solid education has on young people. IWA faculty and staff embrace the mission of the school; believe that all students can be successful; and hold high expectations for each child.

Teachers at IWA express ownership for school improvement and participate in curriculum development. The faculty provides a variety of learning environments for the students and gives specific and timely feedback on their progress. Cooperative and competitive learning strategies and methods are emoployed. Involved in spiritual and professional self-renewal, IWA administrators, faculty and staff members, model and promote lifelong learning—believing in the power of the Spirit at work in the community, educators nurture and promote the development of each student's individual strengths and talents.
