Oceans of Praise for Teacher

IWA's reigning queen of "Ocean Bowl", Colleen Mary Fennessy Duzich , does not like to lose. That shouldn't be a problem for this scuba-diving marine science educator. Her teams rarely lose. This month she will take several students to the national competion in South Carolina after their recent regional win.

Duzich was born on Mariana Island and raised most of her life in Southeast Asia . She loves to travel, shop and, of course, teach marine science. After ten years with Marine Fisheries, she retired from government life and ventured into teaching with a "marine science opportunity at IWA."

Duzich's best advice is to be "true to yourself." She demonstrates this belief in her own life and IWA is all the better for her commitment and dedication.
