The IWA swimmers traveled south to McAllen for the New Year's Classic Swim Meet. This was their last swim prior to championship meets. With just a little over a week before we head to San Antonio for Region, they will be training hard to prepare. This meet was important to shake off the holidays and get back into the swim.
The IWA Girls Swim Team finished in 4th place at the TISCA Zone swim meet. The IWA Boys Swim Team finished in 7th place- a great place with only 4 boys swimming.
The flu has hit the swim team hard, but those not affected made the trek to Killeen for the Mary Jobe Christmas Classic. Six girls and five boys were able to make trip. Read more for their results!
