Judy Harris

Hi, my name is Judy Harris, and I would like to welcome you to my classroom. I teach AP U.S. History, AP U.S. Government and Politics, U. S. Government, AP Economics, and Economics. I have been in education for 37 years, and a teacher for 31 of those years. I look forward to working with all of you to achieve your best in my classes. Fun Facts:

I am a Corpus Christ native. I attended Sam Houston Elementary, Baker and Cullen Junior Highs, and graduated from Ray High School in 1965. I met my husband in college, and had three great children. I have five grandchildren, and two great-granddaughters who are the love of my life. 7 members of my immediate family are, or have been, teachers, school nurses, or other school employees of CCISD.

Hobbies:

I love to travel, especially to Las Vegas. I am a huge Houston Astros fan. I am an avid reader, and I enjoy doing jigsaw puzzles as well as crossword puzzles. And I love decorating for holidays.

Why I love IWA:

There is nothing I do not like about IWA. I have great classes, awesome students, and administrators who are supportive and encouraging. Do I love distance learning? NO! But with a lot of help from some great people here, I am learning things I never dreamed of.
