Office Assistant, Head Cross Country, Head 8th Grade Volleyball

I was born in Corpus Christi, Texas. I  graduated from Gregory – Portland High School where I ran cross country and track. I attended college in Corpus Christi and went to work for Continental Airlines as a flight attendant in 1996. In 1998, I became an International Spanish Speaking Flight Attendant and a Flight Training Specialist. In 1999 I became the Inflight Supervisor for the Continental Airlines Houston Base.

I began my teaching career at Christ the King Catholic School as a K4 teacher. I worked at St. Patrick School for two years as a K3 teacher. I then went to work for Central Catholic Elementary for 8 years as the Physical Education teacher. In 2013 I had the privilege to join Incarnate Word Academy Middle Level as the 6th grade volleyball coach. I have been with the Middle Level going on 8 years. I have coached cross country, volleyball, and track at the Middle Level. This year I was awarded the position as the Head High School Track coach.

I have 2 sons who attended Incarnate Word Academy. My boys are my entire world. Daniel is my oldest and is in the Army based in Fort Hood. Andrew is my youngest son and is a junior at Schreiner University in Kerrville.

I am an avid runner and enjoy spending time with my family. I love to find old furniture and restore them to new. My motto is “Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass, it’s about learning to dance in the rain.”
