GUEST SPEAKER EMPOWERS STUDENTS DURING VISIT Angels received sage advice during Catholic Schools Week; their dreams and their ability to reach those dreams are boundless. No one can reiterate that more than Spencer West, who has lived his life without legs since the age of five. Despite this, he has climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, explored the vastness of South Africa, and has become a prolific voice in the quest to supply third-world countries with drinkable water. We'd like to thank Mr. West for visiting us during Catholic Schools Week and for empowering our Angels.

LADY ANGEL GOLFERS PLACE DURING VICTORIA TOURNAMENT Our Lady Angel golfers made a great showing during the 2019 Lauren Johnson Memorial Ladies Tournament on February 1st and 2nd in Victoria. Unsavory weather and a muddy course couldn't stop our golfers from swinging away and getting on the board. Kaitlyn Canales, freshman, would end up taking fifth place during the tournament.

STUDENTS GIVE AMPUTEES CHANCE TO 'WALK AGAIN' While visiting family in India, Siblings Sneha and Pranai Reddy felt compelled to give back to several remote villages desperately needing assistance. With the help of an Indian nonprofit health care service, the High School Level students started the Walk Again organization and were to able to raise over $32,000 in donations which was used to provide 100 amputees with prosthetics. While the dollar amount raised is impressive, the siblings are most satisfied with the fact that they were able to give 100 individuals the opportunity to live a quality life once again.
