Worship & Prayer
United in the spirit of the Incarnate Word, we gather regularly to celebrate God's presence among us.
Worship at the Heart of Our Community
Below are the sacred rhythms that sustain our community, from our weekly Mass schedule and sacramental milestones to the seasonal liturgical calendar.
The Holy Mass
Weekly Eucharistic Celebration
At the heart of our spiritual life is the celebration of the Eucharist, a sacred time of prayer, reflection, and communion. Through the reading of Sacred Scripture and the breaking of the bread, we are drawn into a profound encounter with God's love and grace. This weekly gathering nourishes our spiritual lives and strengthens our unity as a community of faith.

Sacraments and Priestly Support
At Incarnate Word Academy, we celebrate the sacred milestones of faith in the lives of our students. Our local priests and spiritual leaders are present to guide, support, and pray with our students, helping each one grow in faith according to their unique path.
- Baptism: We honor all students who have received the gift of Baptism—whether in the Catholic Church or in other Christian traditions—as beloved members of God's family.
- Communion & Confirmation: We recognize with joy those students who have received their First Holy Communion and encourage them as they continue their journey toward the Sacrament of Confirmation.
- Reconciliation: Our priests are available to offer the Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession), helping students experience God's mercy, forgiveness, and spiritual renewal.
The Liturgical Year
Our campus life follows the rhythm of the Church's liturgical year. We observe the seasons of Advent, Christmas, Lent, Easter, and Ordinary Time through special prayer services, student-led reflections, and seasonal traditions.
- Advent: Weekly prayer services and "Box of Hope" drives.
- Lent: Stations of the Cross, simple meals, and reconciliation services.
- Easter: Celebration of new life through art and community charity.
- Ordinary Time: A time for living the mission daily and growing in grace through faith-sharing circles, service projects, and leadership retreats

Prayer Requests
"For where two or three are gathered in my name, there am I among them." (Matthew 18:20).
As a faith community, we invite you to share your prayer intentions. Use the prayer request form below to add your intentions to the IWA prayer list. Inspired by the words of Venerable Jeanne Chézard de Matel, "Let us love and serve with hearts full of faith." We unite in prayer for one another.
The prayer list is available to all students, alumni, faculty, staff, Alumni, and all families in the Campus Ministry section of our website and is updated weekly.
Praised be the Incarnate Word, now and forevermore, Amen.
