Hello,

My name is Erica Engel and I am in my 12th year of teaching. I earned my Bachelor of Arts in English from TAMUCC, and continued on to get my M.A. in English from the same university. I have always enjoyed reading and writing, and I try to bring that passion and enthusiasm to the classroom. Although English is often associated with reading, which I love to do, I try to emphasize writing as it is a skill that students will use across the curriculum. This year I am teaching two sections of sophomore Pre-AP English and senior English.

I look forward to meeting all of my students.

Cooking and baking even though my husband has the culinary degree!
