Beth Truesdale

Fifth Grade Teacher

BACKGROUND

I am from Indiana but moved to Texas in 1982. I attended Ball State University and Valparaiso University, both in Indiana.

My masters degree is in English, and I have been teaching for 39 years.

CLASSROOM PHILOSOPHY

This year I will be at the elementary school, and I am looking forward to working with my students and helping them to make the transition from elementary to middle school.

WHAT DO YOU LOVE ABOUT IWA?

This will be my fifth year at Incarnate Word, and I have taught at both the high school and the middle school campuses. As a result, I know many of the teachers and staff, and my friendships with them have been a blessing. I am very happy to be teaching the fifth graders this year, many of whom are siblings of former students of mine.
