Incarnate Word Academy students are encouraged to grow through a variety of extracurricular clubs and activities. Our Mission Team helps students lay the foundation of their faith, our coaches help students to grow in leadership and life skills, and our club sponsors encourage growth in creativity, imagination, and exploration.

Jerry Plemons

Traditional 5th Grade

We happily welcome Jerry Plemons to the Elementary Level as the new Fifth Grade Teacher!

Jerry is a graduate of Texas Tech University and holds a B.A. in Geography. He was previously a seventh grade science teacher for five years in Odem, Texas. Jerry is a proud member of the US Military, active in local government, and is a co-host of the Veteran's Radio Roundtable (1440 KEYS) on most Saturday Mornings.

Jerry's hobbies include football (Go Cowboys!), games, travel, and trivia. Jerry loves IWA because of the pure care, love, and attention each student receives here. He is also a proud IWA parent to an awesome Elementary Level Angel.
