Prayer Request

In times of crisis, many people rely on their faith and head to Church. What are we to do, as a faith community, when physically going to Church is not an option? Take heed of this message from the Catechism of the Catholic Church:

“In Christian usage, the word "church" designates the liturgical assembly, but also the local community or the whole universal community of believers. These three meanings are inseparable.”

Our Church is not just the building, but the whole universal community of believers. Use the prayer request form below to add your own personal intentions to our IWA prayer list. The prayer intentions list is available to all our students, faculty, and families in the Campus Ministry section of our website, and will be updated weekly. Praised be the Incarnate Word, in whom our faith remains.

Please pray for Aidan's great aunt, as she has been re-diagnosed with cancer. It is especially hard for us to handle this news in these trying times where as this virus is affected people with compromised immune systems. Please pray for her health and the strength she needs to go through this journey one more time. - Jessica Riojas

Please pray for all students and teachers during this transition period. Keep all of our families safe and healthy.

Please pray for Thomas Molina in San Antonio in ICU.

Please Heavenly Father and Holy Family pray for all people, the World, our USA and IWA. That we all remain together, pray and get through these difficult times. Lord help us guide us and protect us. Please help my Dad find a job too.

Dear God, help all the people in the world who are getting sick.

Prayers for my brother Luis Muniz.

For the repose of the soul of baby Eli Janak, and in celebration of his Heavenly birthday.
