Incarnate Word Academy students are encouraged to grow through a variety of extracurricular clubs and activities. Our Mission Team helps students lay the foundation of their faith, our coaches help students to grow in leadership and life skills, and our club sponsors encourage growth in creativity, imagination, and exploration.

My Background:

Graduated from W. B. Ray H. S. in 1990.
Graduated from Del Mar College in 2013 with an Associates in Liberal Arts Early Childhood Education.
Graduated from University of the Incarnate Word in 2020 with a Bachelor’s in Psychology degree.
Attending University of the Incarnate Word presently to earn my Master of Education in Teacher Leadership.

I have taught 23 years in preschool in varying capacities and 7 of these years has been teaching in the Diocese of Corpus Christi.

Children are the embodiment of love and can teach and guide us as much as we can for them. They are Gods most precious creation. With our love and guidance, they can individually grow and develop to become strong and loving adults. St. Francis of Assisi said, “Lord grant that I might not so much seek to be loved as to love.” This reminds me that Love is within us. Give love and it will surely come back to you.

Fun Facts:

I can be handy. I enjoy refinishing and repurposing furniture.
I enjoy game night with my family and Sunday dinners.
I love all things Preschool and early Childhood.
