Incarnate Word Academy students are encouraged to grow through a variety of extracurricular clubs and activities. Our Mission Team helps students lay the foundation of their faith, our coaches help students to grow in leadership and life skills, and our club sponsors encourage growth in creativity, imagination, and exploration.

In art the students levels range from Art-l to Art-lV. The goal is for the beginners is to introduce them to art, from drawing to sculpture. The advanced classes could be independent on some aspects but also range from drawing to sculpture.

The goal of Art Club is to represent the art department by setting up different activities to help the homeless and the less fortunate. Additionally, we hope to extend our talents by helping throughout the campus with art needs and to showcase the students work during Art Walk.

We attend one or two galleries a year. Ranging from traveling to Houston Museum of Fine Arts to see the Van Gogh exhibit, to attending The National Drawing show held at Del Mar College.

Activities include:

Sock and hygiene drive for the homeless
