Angel Cafeteria

The Angel Avenue Student Center provides healthy meals in its cafeteria for breakfast and lunch.

Middle and High School Level students

Our breakfast includes healthy cereals, breakfast tacos, yogurt, juice, and milk. Lunch has two meal choices, one of which is our sandwich bar. All entrees include fresh fruit and/or salad bar and a healthy drink. Vending machines are available in the Angel Avenue Student Center and are filled with bottled waters.

Elementary Level students

Lunch is catered to our Elementary Level students in the James R. Dougherty, Jr. Center. Each hot lunch meal varies daily, but is served with fresh fruit or vegetables and 1% milk or chocolate milk. There is also a sack lunch available on our menu. If a child does not like the hot lunch option, he/she may choose a turkey and cheese sandwich with chips, veggies & dip or fruit, granola bar, and drink. This is the same price as the hot lunch.

My School Account

My School Account

IWA uses an online payment system with My School Account. This payment system allows parents to monitor lunchtime purchases, track what children have been eating for the past 30 days, make deposits directly into meal accounts, transfer funds between students, and create an email reminder for when an account balance gets low.

Student debit account deposits can be made through ACH payments or by credit card. IWA absorbs the cost of the ACH and credit card bank fees.

Each child’s account will be updated nightly so that account balance information and payments will be current as of the following day. There will be a $2 convenience fee associated with a transaction for each family deposit.

Mobile App

My School Account also has a mobile app that allows parents to deposit funds, check balances, view lunch activity and more! Download the app to your phone from iTunes or the Google Play Store.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I create a parent account?

  1. Go to www.myschoolaccount.com.

  2. Click “Create Account” on the top menu bar.

  3. Fill in the required information on the “Parent Account Sign-Up page.”

  4. Choose from the “School District” drop down menu.

  5. Create a User ID and Password.

  6. Click the “Accept” box, and then click “Signup.” An email will be sent to your email address that will contain a “verification code.”

What do I do after I create a parent account?

After you receive the “verification code” you may begin to add your children’s information.

To do this, you will need to:

  1. Go to www.myschoolaccount.com and login using your previously created user ID and password.

  2. Enter the “verification code” to verify your account and email address.

  3. Begin adding your children’s information according to the guidelines provided. You will need each of your children’s student ID** numbers and date of birth to add each student.

  4. After the students are added, you will be able to view the lunch account activity and make payments to the student lunch account.

**If you do not remember you children’s ID numbers, they can be obtained by contacting the Food Service Office at 361-883-0857 ext. 135.

Can my parent account be linked to multiple children?

A parent account can be linked to many children, but a child can only be linked to one parent.

How often should I make deposits in my child's account?

We urge you to take full advantage of this system by making deposits into your child’s account on a weekly, monthly, or annual basis.

You are free to choose the amount of each deposit.

Will there be a fee associated with each deposit?

There will be a $2 convenience fee associated with a transaction for each family deposit.

If you have 2 or more students assigned to your account, you may make a payment to each account and only be charged for one transaction.

Example: 3 students, $10 payment to each student, total charge would be $32.

What if there are funds left over in my child's account at the end of the year?

Any money that is not spent by the end of the school year will be available the following school year.
