Digital Graphics and Animation
Provides opportunities for students to learn graphics design, photo editing, MIDI, digital sequencing, frame animation, 3-D rendering, computer animation,
digital video, and web page development.
This course focuses on scripting, developing searching strategies, publishing skills, and placing information on a web server. Students will design and develop a visual interface using HTML web authoring tools. The course will include editing photographs using photo-editing software.
Note: Fulfills the Technology Applications requirement for all diploma plans.
Introduction to Engineering Design
Problem solving skills are taught using a design development process.
Students will be introduced to the world of photography and journalism. The laws, ethics, as well as history of photography will compliment the major units of study which include operation and care of the camera, taking pictures, film and print processing, and teamwork and management skills.
Principals of Education and Training
This course is designed to introduce learning to the various careers available within the education field.
Advances Academic Strategies
Develops and enhances students' academic study strategies. Strategies and skills will help students achieve their full potential in all of their academic classes. Through this opportunity, students will experience a variety of options for learning, students will come to posses a repertoire of skills which enable them to be more effective and efficient learners in the high school setting and beyond. Technological resources will be utilized in this course.
Dual Enrollment Accounting
Prerequisite: Qualifying TSI Indicator Students investigate the inner field of accounting. Students must submit their application to Del Mar College and pay fees prior to start of class.
